The Biggest Loser Season 14 to Welcome Back Jillian Michaels, Focus on Childhood Obesity Sep 4th 2012, 16:56 The Biggest Loser isn't simply returning with new episodes in January. It's bringing back an former favorite and focusing on an issue that plagues the nation. That's right, Jillian Michaels - who exited the NBC competition in 2011 in order to focus on her new family - will once again be the head trainer next year, but this time she will be barking orders at a cast of 13-17-year olds, as The Biggest Loser tackles the issue of childhood obesity. Cue that fist pump, Michelle Obama! Michaels will join trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince on a season that will feature three teams, each comprised of adults and one teen. The younger contestants will play a role in the success of their squads, but will not be eligible for elimination. “As a former overweight teen, I know firsthand how dramatically weight issues can affect every aspect of a child’s life,” said Michaels. ”Having recently become a mother of two, I am more passionate than ever about helping empower children and families with the information and resources they need to live a healthier life.” [Photo: WENN.com]
