Planes Collide Above Arizona, 4 People Killed Jun 1st 2013, 17:35 Very sad news yesterday out of Arizona: Two small planes collides and then crashed down in the desert north of Phoenix, killing all four people aboard, according to local officials. The tragedy took place around 10 a.m. and involved a pair of single-engine planes with two people inside each; one was registered to Bird Acquisition LLC, which does business as TransPac Aviation Academy. It's a school for commercial pilots and the company confirmed that the deceased were instructors. Reasons for the collision remain unknown. "Both of them collided. We don't know how or what," said Phoenix Fire Department Capt. Larry Nunez. "The skies are clear." An investigation is underway, but it may take months to reach a conclusion.

Mookie Blaylock in Serious Condition Following Car Crash Jun 1st 2013, 18:27 Mookie Blaylock is in serious condition following a terrible car accident yesterday in Atlanta - but that's actually an upgrade for the ex-NBA point guard. Blaylock was involved in a head-on collision that left a woman dead, as his Cadillac Escalade reportedly crossed over the median and into oncoming driving. The reason why is unknown at this time - though a family member tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Mookie has a history of seizures - but investigators do not believe alcohol was a factor in. The accident took place around 1 p.m. Blaylock was transported to Atlanta Medical Center and placed on life support Friday afternoon. Blaylock played 13 professional seasons in the NBA, mostly with the Atlanta Hawks. He finished with career averages of 13.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.3 steals per game.

Joran van der Sloot - the convicted killer who is the main suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway - will get married while serving his 28 years in a Peruvian prison. The convict's attorney confirmed the engagement news to HLN, though the identity of van der Sloot's fiancee is unknown at this time. But the couple met while she was visiting another inmate and they hope to be wed within two weeks. In January of last year, Van der Sloot pleaded guilty to the murder of Stephany Flores, whose corpse was discovered in a Lima hotel room registered in the Dutchman's name 18 months earlier. He was also arrested twice in Aruba in connection with Holloway's disappearance, but never charged. A Dutch newspaper, meanwhile, reported in October that van der Sloot impregnated a woman while behind bars.

Lil Scrappy Enters Rehab for Pot Addiction Jun 1st 2013, 11:56 Apparently he wasn't kidding. In March, Lil Scrappy failed a urine test, claimed he was addicted to marijuana and said he would seek treatment for the problem. And now he's done just that. According to TMZ, the rapper voluntarily entered a facility in Atlanta on Thursday night and will remain there for at least two weeks… until a hearing on June 16 where he hopes to a judge will grant him leniency. There are no visitors allowed for 14 days, no cell phones and no computers for patients of this rehab center. So it's clear Scrappy is serious. About not wanting to go to prison.

"I am sorry but I do not find it a compliment when I am told I am 'the hot sister," she wrote. "I appreciate the compliment but this is NOT a competition." Especially when - let's face - either Kim Kardashian or Kourtney Kardashian would win if it were. Khloe has said in the past that she accepted a long time ago how different a shape she was born with than her famous siblings. She added in another Tweet: "We are sisters and women need to stop being compared to other women! Beauty is not how we look, it is how we act." That's actually a nice sentiment. Instead of mocking it, we're gonna point readers to this Brazil fast food chain that gave free food to beautiful women in March. It was actually a cool gesture.
