Lord Infamous was found dead in his mother's home in Memphis, Tennessee on December 20. He was 40 years old.
Ricky "Lord Infamous" Dunigan was the founding member of rap group Three 6 Mafia which won an Academy Award for the song "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from the film Hustle and Flow. They went on to win an American Music Award two years later for Favorite Band/Group/Duo.
Dunigan suffered a heart attack and stroke in 2010. His cause of death is unknown at this time.
His death was also confirmed on Twitter with "R.I.P. Lord Infamous" coming from fellow group member Juicy J.
Lil Wyte added "He gave us the name #Triple6Mafia he was a pioneer, he was a god, he was my friend. RIP Ricky 'Lord Infamous' Dunigan."

Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador will soon be Real Housewives of Orange County.
According to Us Weekly, this pair of spoiled women will star on Season 9 of the Bravo franchise, coming on board to fill the void left by departing cast members Alexis Bellino, Gretchen Rossi and Lydia McLaughlin.
This assumes, of course, that Bravo actually orders a ninth season.
But if one does take place, Rovsek and Beador will costar alongside Vicki Gunvalson (the sole remaining original cast member) Tamra Barney and Heather Dubrow.
So, who are Elizabeth Rovsek and Shannon Beador?
Rovsek was named Miss Kentucky in 2002 and now runs a designer swimsuit company called Sun Kitten Swimwear by Lizzie. She married a real estate executive in 2009 and has two sons, Preston and Kingston.
Less is known about Beador, except that she is friends with Barney; has three children; and is married to a construction mogul.
The Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to be renewed and new episodes to air some time in 2014.

Indeed, the famous couple stopped by Giordano's Pizza Parlor in Chicago on Thursday and shocked patrons there by sitting down for what one onlooker described as an "intimate" lunch.
"They ordered the a small 'special' which is stuffed with sausage, onions, peppers and mushrooms. It has six slices," the witess said, adding that Kimye also enjoyed a Greek salad for an appetizer and enjoyed some hot chocolate.
"It was just the two of them. They were sitting in a booth and were sitting across from each other. They looked like they were just into each other the entire time. It was very intimate. They didn't look at their phones or anything. They were having a conversation and completely focused on each other."
They also shopped at Saks Fifth Avenue to pass the time after ordering and reportedly tipped very well.

Justine Sacco, a PR executive, is in major hot water after publicly tweeting a racist "joke" during a flight to Africa that went viral and didn't go over too well.
"Going to Africa. Hope I don't get AIDS. Just kidding. I'm white!" she wrote.
Justine Sacco is a New York-based communications director for media conglomerate IAC, which reps brands like OKCupid, Vimeo and CollegeHumor.
At least she was. IAC responded to the controversy in a statement last night:
"This is an outrageous, offensive comment that does not reflect the views and values of IAC. This is a very serious matter and we are taking appropriate action."
The company, which is operated by billionaire media executive Barry Diller, noted that it had been unable to reach the in-flight "employee in question."
It's unclear why she was flying to the continent in the first place, although she may want to consider staying in Africa after the backlash this caused.
The offending tweet disappeared late last night, or this morning in Africa. Just after midnight in New York, in fact, Sacco's entire account was gone.
Not before outrage ensued over what many dubbed the "worst tweet of the year," with one vengeful Twitter user putting Sacco's cell phone number online.
"She gon get that message I left," one Twitter user wrote.
Another added, "Listen, homegirl is about to be FIRED."
Sacco's tweet also inspired the Twitter hashtag #HasJustineLandedYet, with users mocking her idiocy and speculating what would happen when she lands.
"Sometimes you land with more baggage than you took off with," one user tweeted, while others were more coarse in what they hoped she'd encounter.
Further looking to capitalize on the situation, someone even created a website in the offending social media user's name, justinesacco (dot) com
It links to various charities benefiting sub-Saharan Africa.
It's possible Sacco was the victim of hackers, but her past tweets make that scenario seem less likely. Some of her previous one-liners include ...
"I like animals, but when it's this cold out I'll skin one myself for the fur"
"I can't be fired for things I say while intoxicated right?"
"I had a sex dream about an autistic kid last night. #fml"

Ned Vizzini, who scored a big hit with It's Kind of a Funny Story, a young adult novel about depression, has died in an apparent suicide at the age of 32.
He jumped off the roof of his parents' Brooklyn home on Thursday, the AP reports.
It's Kind of a Funny Story is based on his time in a Brooklyn psychiatric ward as a teen. It was later made into a film starring Zach Galifianakis and Keir Gilchrist.
Ned Vizzini traveled the country talking about mental health issues.
"At his signings, countless kids would approach him to say that he changed their lives - he gave them hope," his longtime publisher, Alessandra Balzer, said.
The troubled Vizzini's other books include Be More Chill and The Other Normals, both of which also told of young people who feel like outsiders.
He is survived by his wife and their two-year-old son. R.I.P.

As for criticism that A&E knew what it was getting into with Phil when they hired him - see this sermon video from 2010 (above) - a source explained:
"He just took it too far with GQ ... especially with the coarse language."
A&E is adamant that this has nothing to do with being "anti-religion," as many critics alleged this week. The network runs lots of religious programming.
Perhaps most notably, A&E is the home of Mark Burnett's The Bible.
The CEO is paying the price for her actions and has been receiving death threats. The status of Robertson and the show remains unclear at this time.
He hasn't been outright fired and the show hasn't been canceled, and it's unclear if production was even underway on new episodes at the time.
In the Duck Dynasty Season 5 sneak peek (January 15), Phil is prominently featured, and there are several marathons of repeats on this month.
Clearly, the network isn't cutting ties with Phil yet, but they're most likely weighing their options and speaking with the family about how to proceed.

Here's hoping the old saying about cats always landing on their feet is true ... or the other adage about them having nine lives. This one may be down to eight.
With two-thirds of the country covered in snow in this unusually chilly December, cats are up against it in the great outdoors. It's pretty slippery out there!
Still, we expect better than this epic fail.
Watch what happens as one orange feline attempts to make the leap from the roof of a snow-covered car to the roof of the garage, only to lose its footing:
"Ready, aim, jump, oh s--t!"
While cats are known for their ninja-like agility and dexterity (they'll choke-slam you if you kick snow in their faces), ice knocks us all down a peg.
In this case, tumbling down onto the hood of the car and into the abyss below, outside the camera's range and never to be heard from again.
We kid. He was probably fine. At least we hope so. In any case, analysis shows the gentle slope of the car's roof was likely the poor fella's undoing.
Stuck in no man's hand, he couldn't get enough traction to really push off and reach the top of the garage, nor could he backtrack before it was too late.
