Iggy Azalea Falls Off Stage in Pre-VMA Concert: Not So "Fancy" Footwork! Aug 23rd 2014, 18:26, by Free Britney Iggy Azalea took an epic spill from the stage she was performing on Friday night, and she's lucky to be alright, because the fall looked pretty rough. Iggy Azalea Falls Off Stage Two nights before the MTV Video Music Awards, Azalea was rapping her hit "Fancy" during a pre-VMA party at the Avalon when she lost sight of the stage. As you can see from the video clip above, she went down HARD. Fortunately for Iggy Iggs, she was not hurt by the fall, which clearly took the leggy Australian rapper by surprise and appeared to be from fairly high up. Since "you already know" she's okay, it's okay to laugh. (Boooo.) Even better, security helped the 24-year-old back onto the stage, where she laughed it up and received a huge ovation before carrying on like a champ. Friday was a heck of a day for pre-VMA action. Aug 23rd 2014, 17:53, by Free Britney A backup dancer working on the MTV Video Music Awards performance of Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" was bitten by one of the actual snakes during rehearsal Friday. This was done to prevent bacterial infection "out of an abidance of caution," said Chris Velvin, director of production safety for MTV's parent company Viacom. The rehearsal was in preparation for Sunday's star-studded MTV VMAs. Velvin said an animal handler was nearby and removed the snake, a Dumeril's boa constrictor that had worked in the industry for 15 years, from the set. "This was in no way life-threatening, but scary," Velvin said afterward. "We wanted her to start getting treatment as soon as possible." Rest assured, the show will go on Sunday. The plan is to use a different snake for Minaj's act, which is guaranteed to be risque and might even rank among the all-time craziest VMA moments ever. Earlier in the week, Cannon confirmed "trouble in paradise" between the couple and said they had been living separately for months.
