James Holmes Confirmed as Client on Adult Dating Site Jul 21st 2012, 18:04 An X-rated dating site has confirmed that suspected Colorado shooter James Holmes was, indeed, a client, having made a profile for the service on July 5 and last logging in some time this week. Adult Friend Finder tells TMZ that it traced the profile in question back to Aurora, Colorado - the town in which Holmes is accused of killing 12 people who were attending a showing of The Dark Knight Rises - and that the address and date of birth entered match those of the alleged murderer. The profile lists basic information, such as Holmes labeling himself a "light/social drinker," while also including his penis size ("short/average") and, most eerie of all, a message that reads: Will you visit me in prison? Police will likely investigate the profile just to learn as much as possible about the 24-year old in custody. Holmes reportedly did not put up a fight when arrested, but he was sporting red hair at the time and told authorities "I'm The Joker" upon being apprehended.

Kyle Glover, 11-Year Old Stepson of Usher, Dies of Brain Injuries Jul 21st 2012, 17:54 Tragic news today for Usher and his estranged ex-wife, Tameka Foster: Kyle Glover, Tameka's 11-year old son from a previous relationship, has been taken off life support and has passed away two weeks after suffering irreversible brain damage in a jet skiing accident. The fatal injury occurred on Lake Lanier in Atlanta on July 8, as Kyle was riding on an inner tube when he was struck by a passer-by in a jet ski. That individual is named Jeffrey S. Hubbard and is in under investigation for his actions. Doctors quickly determined that Kyle was medically brain dead and he had been on life support in the hospital until this morning. The tragedy took place while Usher and Foster were engaged in a contentious custody fight for the two kids they share. But that court battle has now taken a backseat to the sad circumstances surrounding Glover. We send our thoughts and prayer to his family.

Many have also used this as an opportunity to push for stricter gun laws, an area in which President Barack Obama has been considered a total failure by The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence. Fred Willard to Avoid Prosecution, Get Off in Adult Movie Theater Case Jul 21st 2012, 11:27 Fred Willard is expected to get off easy in his lewd conduct case. Okay, wrong choice of words. The veteran actor, who was arrested this week for an incident inside a Hollywood theater that allegedly involved his pants being down, can avoid prosecution if he signs up for a $380 "pre-filing diversion class," The Los Angeles Times reports. This is a program that teaches one about responsibility and decision-making. Willard has referred to the arrest as a "a big misunderstanding" and he's already been fired from his job at PBS. But at least it looks like the funny man won't get into any real trouble with the law and at least he has the support of his friends. Tweeted Albert Brooks a couple days ago: "I love Fred Willard. He's a great guy. For his birthday I'm getting him a den and a computer."

Christopher Nolan Responds to Dark Knight Rises Tragedy, Expresses "Profound Sorrow" Jul 21st 2012, 11:07 For the time time since the deadly Colorado shooting that took 12 lives, someone associated with The Dark Knight Rises has spoken out. And that someone is director Christopher Nolan. “Speaking on behalf of the cast and crew of The Dark Knight Rises, I would like to express our profound sorrow at the senseless tragedy that has befallen the entire Aurora community," Nolan said, adding: "I would not presume to know anything about the victims of the shooting, but that they were there last night to watch a movie. "I believe movies are one of the great American art forms and the shared experience of watching a story unfold on screen is an important and joyful pastime. The movie theatre is my home, and the idea that someone would violate that innocent and hopeful place in such an unbearably savage way is devastating to me. Nothing any of us can say could ever adequately express our feelings for the innocent victims of this appalling crime, but our thoughts are with them and their families." James Holmes is in custody for the crime, which tragically took place just miles from the 1999 school shooting incident in Columbine, Colorado.

James Holmes to Police: I'm The Joker Jul 20th 2012, 21:22 We have a disturbing update on James Holmes, the 24-year old suspected of killing 12 people and injuring dozens more inside an Aurora, Colorado movie theater this morning. The shooting took place at approximately 12:38 a.m. local time. Holmes protected himself with a ballistic helmet, a vest, a throat protector, a gas mask and black tactical gloves Officials believe Holmes acted on his own: “We are not looking for any other suspects,” said Oates. “We are confident he acted alone.” Holmes possessed three weapons when he was arrested behind the theater: an AR-15 assault rifle, a Remington shotgun and a 40-caliber Glock handgun. All were purchased legally. Holmes' hair was painted red and he told police, upon being apprehended, that he was "The Joker." At last count, 71 people were wounded in this gunman's attack. President Obama addressed the nation earlier today, honoring the victims and asking America's to treasure the fragility of life. Mitt Romney, meanwhile, has also made a speech in which he offered his "deepest condolences" to those affected by the tragedy and added: "I stand before you today not as a man running for office but as a father and grandfather, a husband, an American. This is a time for each of us to look into our hearts and remember how much we love one another and how much we love and how much we care for our great country. There’s so much love and goodness in the heart of America."

Gangster Squad Trailer: Pulled from Theaters in Face of Dark Knight Rises Massacre Jul 20th 2012, 20:38 In the wake of today's horrific Dark Knight Rises shooting in Colorado, Warner Bros. has chosen to pull the trailer for another movie out of theaters. The preview for Gangster Squad, which has been online since May and is posted below, was NOT played prior to this morning's Batman feature and has NOT been attached to most of The Dark Knight Rises screenings around the country. Still, one scene does depict mobsters opening fire inside a movie theater and, with the spot scheduled to start running nationwide this weekend, the studio thought it was inappropriate to air at such a time.   The Gangster Squad Trailer Gangster Squad will open on September 7. It stars Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Josh Brolin and centers on a LAPD unit assigned to rid Los Angeles of organized crime in the 1940s.
