Miley Cyrus has a response for those who think she's been far too dirty throughout 2013:
Look at me now! All fresh and clean!
The 21-year old took to Twitter last night and posted a photo of herself just out of the shower, although the image actually reveals far less than many of the outfits donned by the singer this year.
Miley, as always, is sticking her tongue out in the picture, an act she told Barbara Walters she does so often because she's "embarrassed" to pose any other way.
"I get embarrassed to take pictures. That's actually the truth," Miley said . "I'm so embarrassed, because people are taking pictures of me, and... I don't know how to smile, and just be awkward, so I stick my tongue out, because I don't know what else to do."
That sort of makes sense, although it doesn't explain why she also does so in selfies such as the one above.
In more professional Miley Cyrus news, the artist has revealed that her next single and accompanying music video will be for the ballad "Adore You." Look for it to come out in early 2014.
