CNN Anchor Refers to Dallas Gunmen as "Courageous and Brave" Jun 14th 2015, 17:57, by Hilton Hater Fredricka Whitfield would probably like to have a do-over right about now The CNN anchor was reporting on the terrorists behind an attack on the Dallas police headquarters on Saturday morning when she referred to the men in oddly complimentary terms. "It was very courageous and brave, if not crazy as well, to open fire on the police headquarters, and now you have this scene, this standoff," Whitfield said. CNN legal analyst Philip Holloway gave his colleague a strange look upon hearing the opening description and simply replied as follows: "I think the Dallas police did an excellent job handling this situation, and we're very fortunate that no one other than the suspect was injured." The driver of the armored van involved in the attack was killed by a police sniper. Watch the awkward exchange above.
