Anna Faris, Chris Pratt Welcome First Child! Aug 26th 2012, 18:40 Snooki gave birth earlier today, but she doesn't have the celebrity baby spotlight all to herself: Anna Faris and Chris Pratt just welcomed son Jack! The couple “are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy,” her rep said. “He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU." "The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time.” Faris, 35, first debuted her baby belly in May at the premiere of The Dictator, a day after she revealed she was pregnant. She had been due in the fall. Pratt, 33, is the source of some of the most hilarious Parks and Recreation quotes and married Anna back in 2009. They're quite the comedic couple. Congratulations to Anna and Chris and be well, little Jack! [Photo: WENN.com]

Katy Perry Rejects American Idol >>Hollywood

The Hollywood Gossip Celebrity gossip blog with the latest entertainment news, pictures, and videos of your favorite stars and celebrities.

Katy Perry Rejects American Idol Aug 26th 2012, 17:02 With seemingly every artist having been connected to the open American Idol Season 12 judging spots over the last couple weeks, we can cross one name off the list: Katy Perry. Sources tell TMZ the singer turned down an offer from the Fox competition this week. A $20 million offer, that is. Why would Perry reject such a massive payday? Insiders cite her busy schedule and also her belief that it simply wouldn't have been the proper career decision. So, who does this leave as a possible partner for Mariah Carey? Who doesn't it leave?!? Everyone from Lenny Kravitz to Keith Urban to Kanye West to Nicki Minaj have been considered for the gig, with the latter rapper seemingly on the verge of signing a deal.

Megan Lochte on Anti-Asian Tirade: All An Act! >>Hollywood

The Hollywood Gossip Celebrity gossip blog with the latest entertainment news, pictures, and videos of your favorite stars and celebrities.

Megan Lochte on Anti-Asian Tirade: All An Act! Aug 26th 2012, 14:18 Give Megan Lochte credit: This is certainly a new line of defense. After being slammed for her appearance on a Maryland-based radio this week, during which she repeatedly used the word "Chink" to describe Chinese citizens and lumped them together with the Japanese as "Asian," or "whatever [Americans] want them to be," the sister of star swimmer Ryan Lochte has come out and explained: It was all an act!   Megan Lochte Radio Interview "I would like to apologize for the video that is circulating," Lochte said in a statement. "This was not a real interview, and it in no way reflects my true feelings or persona whatsoever. During that time, I played a character on a television comedy show called Closing Time TV, which was a show with different comedy skits, fake news skits and staged interviews. "The video in question reflects a skit from the show in which I acted as an ignorant guest on a talk show that made ignorant comments. The intent was to make fun of the ignorance of people who actually do not have an understanding of other cultures and speak in racist ways. The skit and my character were supposed to be making fun of ignorance." Ah, so Megan Lochte was actually attempting to enlighten the world? Not totally and completely mock it?!? Our bad for somehow misinterpreting the rant! What do you think, readers? Are you buying this explanation?

Utah Affiliate Refuses to Air The New Normal, Labels Gay-Based Sitcom "Inappropriate" for Families >>Hollywood

The Hollywood Gossip Celebrity gossip blog with the latest entertainment news, pictures, and videos of your favorite stars and celebrities.

Utah Affiliate Refuses to Air The New Normal, Labels Gay-Based Sitcom "Inappropriate" for Families Aug 26th 2012, 14:10 KSL-TV in Salt Lake City, Utah airs Law & Order: SVU on Wednesday nights. That program centers on such horrific crimes as rape and murder. But the NBC affiliate has drawn its objectionable line at The New Normal, an upcoming sitcom from Glee creator Ryan Murphy that focuses on a gay couple and the family of its surrogate mother. “For our brand, this program simply feels inappropriate on several dimensions, especially during family viewing time,” Jeff Simpson, CEO of KSL’s parent company, Bonneville International, said in a statement. The decision has been met with backlash from those involved with the show and those who care about gay rights. First, there is star Ellen Barkin's reply on Twitter. "Shame on you @kslcom," wrote the veteran actress, referring to the move as "blatantly homophic" and adding: "[A] loving gay couple having a baby is inappropriate? What will play in @NBCTheNewNormal spot? A dude reading from the bible?” GLAAD President Herndon Graddick has also spoken out, saying of the axing: “Same-sex families are a beloved part of American television thanks to shows like Modern Family, Glee and Grey’s Anatomy. While audiences, critics and advertisers have all supported LGBT stories, KSL is demonstrating how deeply out of touch it is with the rest of the country.” KSL does not air Saturday Night Live and also dropped NBC's The Playboy Club last fall, citing that drama's “objectionable material."

Snooki Gives Birth to Baby Boy, Apocalypse Nigh! Aug 26th 2012, 12:19 Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is officially a mom. The Jersey Shore star and her fiance, Jionni LaValle, welcomed a baby boy - 6-pound, 5-ounce Lorenzo Dominic LaValle - into the world this morning. "The world just got another Guido!!!" a Polizzi rep told MTV, which confirmed the baby's arrival moments ago. "Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!" Enzo was born at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. around 3 a.m., according to MTV, which congratulated Snooki and Jionni LaValle. "We couldn't be happier for Nicole and Jionni on the healthy delivery of their baby boy!" the network said in a statement. "We look forward to Lorenzo's first trip to the Jersey Shore and can't wait to see his first animal print onesie." Jersey Shore will return for a sixth season this fall, and her spinoff Snooki & JWoww has also been picked up for a new season, though it's unclear the extent to which Enzo will appear on either, or whether he has an agent yet. So there you go. Snooki is a mom. In charge of keeping a small human alive. The Mayans predicted the world will end 12/21/12 ... turns out they missed by 118 days, not too bad considering the scope of human civilization. In all seriousness, congratulations to Snooki and Jionni. Welcome Enzo! [Photo: WENN.com]

Dev Sex Tape Reportedly Being Shopped >>Hollywood

The Hollywood Gossip Celebrity gossip blog with the latest entertainment news, pictures, and videos of your favorite stars and celebrities.

Dev Sex Tape Reportedly Being Shopped Aug 26th 2012, 12:08 Singer Dev made a sex tape apparently. According to TMZ, the video shows the "Dancing in the Dark" singer doing the horizontal mambo night vision style. The Dev sex tape was shot last year with an ex-boyfriend and is being shopped to the highest bidder by a third party. It's unclear how the tape was acquired. Ooh LA LA! According to TMZ, which luckily (or unluckily) seems to get a screening of these videos, it's fairly vanilla as far as sex tapes go. Conventional boning. Dev (real name Devin Tailes) is clearly recognizable based on her tattoos - a diamond on her front left shoulder and two sparrows on her lower back. No word yet on whether there's been any interest in seeing Dev - also the female voice in Far East Movement's "Like a G6" - fornicate on film. [Photo: WENN.com]
