Farrah Abraham was fired by the network that made her a star this week. MTV "cut her out of negotiations" from any part of a potential Teen Mom Season 5.
The reason? She's a bad influence, according to execs and co-stars Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell, all of whom wanted her outta here.
Farrah Abraham, of course, leveraged her Teen Mom fame into two sex tapes, a sex toy product line, an erotic novel trilogy, and a stint on Couples Therapy.
We could go on. But apparently, MTV had seen enough. They felt the Backdoor Teen Mom diva "sets a bad example and doesn't represent the network."
Bookout, Lowell and Portwood reportedly refused to do the show if Farrah participated, so the network obliged. For her part, Abraham says that's all good.
"Truthfully, I was never friends with them," she said. "Personally, I like to keep my life separate. We came in separate, and I think it's best we keep our lives separate."
If she really believes that (one never knows with Farrah), fair enough. But isn't it basically MTV's mission to parade around people who set bad examples?
Either that or we totally missed the point of The Hills, or Jersey Shore ... or Teen Mom 2, which is still on and likely to get a sixth season starring Jenelle Evans.
Jenelle. Evans.
Perhaps Farrah is just too much of a loose cannon and unreliable to work with. Otherwise, it's hard to justify this decision from any sort of moral high ground.
Sure, she's done shady stuff, but is one sex tape really that much worse than prison (Amber), domestic violence (Kailyn Lowry) or a dozen arrests (Jenelle)?

Imitating celebrities is definitely a thing that happens, especially when it comes to baby names.
Olivia Wilde just named her baby boy Otis Alexander, but if Otis isn't your style, we've got the top 10 most popular baby boy names of 2013 for your inspirational use.
While the top 10 list of baby girl names is loaded with old-world classics, the boy names chosen by the most Americans include a couple of unorthodox choices.
Nothing too crazy, but just a little bit different. A little more fashion-forward, if you will.
What are they? Here are the Top 10 most popular baby boy names of 2013 ...
Daniel comes in at #10 on this year's list. No sign of Harry, though. Or Potter for that matter.
9. Jaden
While Aiden is out of the Top 10, Jayden/Jaden is in, squeaking in at #9.
8. Alexander
Alexander is #8 for 2013 and also happens to be one of the middle names of Royal Baby Prince George. There's totally not a coincidence there at all. Probably.
7. Michael
Michael, a classic boy's name, is coming in strong this year at #7.
6. Ethan
Ethan has maintained popularity for several years now and with namesakes like Ethan Hawke, it's a good choice.
5. William
William maintains its reign as a representation of royalty. And there's always a good chance your baby boy will have more hair than the Prince, so it's a good bet.
4. Mason
This little cutie, Mason Dash Disick, has helped increase the popularity of the name Mason.
3. Jacob
Jacob fell to #3 this year, perhaps due to the end of the Twilight film franchise.
2. Liam
In only its second year in the Top 10, Liam comes in at #2, probably thanks to this guy.
1. Noah
Noah leaps to the #1 spot for 2013 unseating the ever-popular Jacob.
