Bill Nye to Creationists: Save Your Children! Aug 27th 2012, 14:44 Bill Nye, known as The Science Guy for his former show on PBS, has stepped headstrong in a national debate. Addressing those who deny the evidence behind evolution - what Nye refers to as the "fundamental idea in all of life science" - the mechanical engineering expert says he can maybe give a pass to adults who hold the "inconsistent" and "untenable" view of Creationism. But he makes a plea in the following video to those same adults: please think of your children. We need "scientifically literate voters and tax payers" in this county....   Bill Nye Supports Evolution "I say to the grownups, if you want to deny evolution and live in your world - in your world that’s completely inconsistent with everything we observe in the universe - that’s fine," Nye says. "But don’t make your kids do it because we need them... "In another couple of centuries [Creationism] I’m sure... it just won’t exist. There’s no evidence for it.” Where do you stand on this issue?
