Rapper Yung Berg of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood fame was arrested in New York early this morning, according to reports, and it doesn't sound good.
Berg, a.k.a. Christian Ward, a.k.a. Hitmaka, allegedly brutalized his girlfriend, and the charge the 28-year-old was booked on is "obstruction of breathing."
Reports say Yung Berg was at Gershwin Hotel when he got into an argument with his love and it turned ugly, as he allegedly grabbed her by the neck.
He threw her to the floor, dragged her by her hair and hit her in the face, a violent outburst that conjures up images of Ray Rice and Janay Palmer.
The neck grab alone was enough for the breathing obstruction charge.
Police found the woman with bruises on her body and she complained that she was in pain. Yung Berg was arrested and likely faces serious legal repercussions.
If you watch Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood online, you know that he's been tied to a number of women at the same time, but it's not clear who the victim is.
