Lazaro Arbos, Severe Stutterer, Receives Ticket to Hollywood Jan 18th 2013, 11:40 Forget the sniping between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj on American Idol last night. The evening belonged to Lazaro Arbos. A 21-year old from Naples, Arbos possesses an extreme stutter, one that makes it nearly impossible for him to complete a sentence. The speech impediment has limited his number of friends, Arbos said, but it didn't limit his potential on the show, as this hopeful shocked and impressed the judges with his rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water," dissolving into tears when he received a golden ticket to Hollywood.
