Gone Girl Movie News: Ben Affleck as Nick? Jul 11th 2013, 16:59, by Hilton Hater Argo... celebrate, movie fans? According to Deadline, Ben Affleck is in serious negotiations to play the lead male road in the big screen version of Gone Girl, a movie based on Gillian Flynn's wildly popular best-seller. If the deal goes through, Affleck would portray Nick, a husband who cheats on his wife and then becomes the lead murder suspect when she goes missing. But all is not exactly as it appears. David Fincher is on board to direct the adaption, which goes into production this fall. The female lead of Amy has yet to be cast (Emily Blunt, anyone?), but let's all sound off on Affleck first.
