Madonna was named the top earner on Forbes' Celebrity 100 list after raking in $125 million, but Jackson eclipsed even that from the great beyond.
Jackson reclaims the top spot from Elizabeth Taylor, who earned an estimated $210 million the previous year through various auctions. She's fourth in 2013.
The King of Pop made the majority of his earnings from two Cirque du Soliel shows, music sales and his ownership stake in Sony's publishing catalogue.
