Thousands of friends, fans and car enthusiasts paid tribute to the late Paul Walker at a special rally and public memorial service in Santa Clarita, Calif.
The actor's Fast & Furious co-star Rick Yune was among those who attended the event Sunday, a week after Paul and his friend Roger Rodas died.
The Porsche GT Rodas was driving crashed and burst into flames last Saturday. Paul Walker died of trauma and thermal injuries at the age of 40.
"We mourn his loss, but maybe we could just remember how great a guy this guy was and celebrate his life," Yune told more than 5,000 mourners.
It had been due to start at midday, but people arrived hours early to leave flowers, candles, stuffed animals and other tributes to the Fast & Furious star.
The memorial, fittingly, concluded with an auto cruise through the area, 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles as the actor's legacy lives on.
Walker and Rodas, who bonded over a passion for cars, were driving in Rodas' Porsche following an event for Walker's charity, Reach Out WorldWide.
The car crashed into a pole and tree and burst into flames. Police believe speed was a factor in the crash, though it's unlikely there was a street race.
Coroner's officials revealed Walker died from a combination of injuries suffered in the impact and burns, while Rodas died from "multiple traumatic injuries."
A makeshift memorial has since been set up at the site of the crash where fans have left their tributes. Tyrese and Vin Diesel have both visited.
Walker, who starred in five of the six Fast & Furious films, was making the seventh in the franchise when he died. Universal has put production on hold.
The actor's family has asked for donations to be made to his charity, which helps provide relief in response to natural disasters around the world.
