There are surprise marriage proposals, and then there's this spiring groom, who staged it so that he and his would-be fiancee would be accosted by a biker gang.
It was convincing, too. After surrounding the couple's car and forcing them to pull over, he stepped out to "reason" with them, only to be thrown onto the hood!
Tensions rise. Words are exchanged. Chaos ensues. Then ...
If you guessed that a marriage proposal would follow (at the 1:42) mark, you would have to be clairvoyant, as this was not exactly a romantic scene (to us anyway).
The surreal viral video, posted by YouTube user androkols and allegedly taking place in Russia, certainly shows the future bride getting the surprise of her life.
Possibly the scare of her life, as well.
While we may have chosen a different approach, at least his unorthodox way of popping the question wasn't as cringe-worthy as some of the efforts below:
