It looks like it's official: Maksim Chmerkovskiy is retired from Dancing With the Stars, as previously reported, and he's not the only pro who won't be back.
The reality hit revealed its line-up of pro dancers for Season 19 today, with Karina Smirnoff, Tony Dovolani, Cheryl Burke, and Maks' brother Val Chmerkovskiy on hand.
Those four will all be back on the show this fall, otherwise it would have been pretty weird to have them on Good Morning America to unveil the roster.

- Val Chmerkovskiy
- Tony Dovolani
- Witney Carson
- Artem Chigvintsev

The top half-dozen big names will anchor the pro side this fall, while Sharna Burgess, Henry Byalikov, Tristan MacManus and Tyne Stecklein will not return.
Will the turnover matter? Or is Chmerkovskiy - as popular and controversial as any celeb contestant - the only pro whose absence will truly be felt.
After winning the title with Meryl Davis, Maks revealed he was done as a dancer on DWTS during a visit to The View, saying, "I feel like it's time."
He also remarked that the show is "running out" of bona fide stars, which is sort of true, though it remains to be see who will join the cast this fall.
We'll find out on September 4, when the celebrity side of the Season 19 roster is officially announced, also on Good Morning America of course.
