Deceiving as appearances might be, and relentless as the tabloid rumor mill undoubtedly is, Jennifer Garner is not pregnant with her fourth child.
A pair of celebrity gossip tabloids, OK! and Star, recently claimed Garner is expecting her fourth baby with Ben Affleck. The evidence? Loose fitting tops.
The Daily Mail (UK) and The New York Daily News even got in on the act, commenting on her figure in print. However, the star's rep says it just ain't so.
Similar to the alleged Kate Middleton baby bump, it's a great story. Just not an accurate one for the mother of Violet, 8, Seraphina, 5, and Samuel, 2.
She has long said she plans "to be done" having kids. But as she told Ellen DeGeneres in 2012, "My husband is kind of a wonder sperm kind of guy."
When Garner appeared on DeGeneres' show again in November 2013, she joked that Affleck's sperm "has so far been held at bay." She added:
"There are 57 kinds of contraceptives used pretty much [every day]. Three of them are under the age of 8. But yes, so far so good, ha. Stop it in its tracks."
"I think that's enough. I think we have provided the world with enough."
At least until the next paparazzo snaps her in a loose-fitting top ...
