Miley's Instagram is always a weird place, but never with this latest post, she's really like messin' with our minds, man.
Part of what's so strange about Miley's twerk-tastic career is that we all watched her grow up in the spotlight as a squeaky-clean Disney commodity.
Miley's performance at the 2013 VMAs was essentially her way of driving the final nail into Hannah Montana's coffin, but the transition happened somewhat gradually.
So seeing the very different halves of her career juxtaposed like this is an affront to our senses.
It's like watching Lindsay Lohan write out all her dialogue from The Parent Trap using lines of coke. Maybe it's high-minded performance art.
Or maybe it's just a sad way of saying, hey I used to be a cute kid, but now I like to get high as a kite and show the world my goodies!
Or maybe we're just reading too much into a stoned Instagram post.
