Such was the basic reaction of many viewers after the credits rolled on The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 5, which was titled "Self Help" and revealed two significant facts about Abraham and Eugene:
The former helped saved the latter's life, giving Abraham hope just as he was set to kill himself following the death of his family members.
He's not a scientist. He doesn't have any kind of cure for the zombie outbreak.
He's just a coward looking for protection on his way to D.C.
How will Eugene's follow survivors react to this bombshell? The promo above for The Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 6 doesn't offer much of an answer.
But it does feature Carol and Daryl coming across some walkers in what appears to be a rather dangerous situation.
According to the official network synopsis, members of the group "must venture into a familiar location on a heroic rescue mission," while AMC teases "huge" stakes and a "huge stage."
