2014 will be remembered for many reasons.
It was the year when Ebola made its way to the United States; when civilians in Missouri and New York took their displeasure with the police to the street; when North Korea somehow prevented a movie from opening in the United States.
And also when Kylie and Kendall Jenner fully emerged from the attention-hogging shadow of half-sister Kim Kardashian ... barely wearing any clothes in the process!

This is not the first year the Jenners have made a splash, but with each passing week, their fame - and notoriety - grows, and not solely on Instagram.
Indeed, these teenage siblings have been public figures to some degree since they were children, due to their roles on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
But Kylie and Kendall Jenner served as far more than background fodder for their feuding parents and famous half-sisters over the past 12 months.
Kylie made us feel dirty every time she stripped down on Instagram, while clearly basking in the focus on those who wondered whether she has had lip injections.
Making headlines for merely stoking the rumor mill with plastic surgery talk and for posing in skimpy outfits at a young age (Kylie is just 17 years old)?
Hmmm. We wonder where she learned that lesson from.

Kendall, meanwhile, has accomplished more than just mastery of her social media accounts (though she remains a master of social media in her own right).
A true runway star, the 19-year old stunner has helped anchor fashion shows in Paris, Milan and New York over the past several months.
She's appeared in Vogue, more than once. She possibly hooked up with Justin Bieber. She was named the most reblogged model of 2014.
To Jenner's credit, she has gone out of her way to disassociate herself from her famous family, trying as hard as possible to establish herself in the fashion world on her own merits.
So far, so very good for her, with no end in sight.
It's been an impressive year overall for Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Expect to see them back in this list in 2015, perhaps even ranked higher than Kim.
Let's just hope it's not because they made a sex tape.
