Well... okay then.
That's Charles DiLaurents?!?
On Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Episode 3, we learned the answer to a major series question, as it was revealed that Charlies (aka "Charlie") was Jason's imaginary friend when he was younger.
Until, for some reason, Jason's dad told him that Charlie had to "go away."
Still… it's conceivable that Charlie isn't wholly imaginary.
At one point, uber sleuth Aria found a childhood picture of Jason standing next to a boy neither Alison nor Spencer could identify.
We know it wasn't Andrew because he's been let out of prison and he's seriously displeased about it. As in, he straight-up called the girls "toxic dumps" to their faces.
OUCH. Low blow, man.
At the conclusion of the hour, Mr. DiLaurentis took a break from his persistent job as a mean-mugging scarecrow to inform Alison and Jason of the truth about Charlie.
However, in classic Pretty Little Liars fashion, the talk was only shown through the window of the family living room, meaning we'll have to wait for Pretty Little Liars Season 6 Episode 4 to find out just what was said.
Elsewhere this week:
- Could the series be hinting at a potential coupling between Sara and Emily? And can we really trust Sara?
- Perhaps Charles wanted Sara to be discovered so that she can serve as his mole?
- Alison DiLaurentis as a youth leader?!? At least we're curious to see where things with Lorenzo go.
- Spencer is so headed on another spiral.
- What, exactly, was the point of bringing Dr. Sullivan back?
- Are you feeling Jason's beard?
