Following an intense 24 hours in which everyone with a wifi connection debated the color of #TheDress, social media users are now engaged in another hotly-contested dilemma: And we have someone on Twitter named @totallymendes to thank for it. That individual Tweeted a photo today of a shoe on one side of the frame... a bottle of pink nail polish and a bottle of purple nail polish on the other side... and then asked for some advice: WHICH COLOR MATCHES THE SHOES BEST? With that, the Twitterverse exploded. "NO NOT AGAIN I CANT HANDLE THE EMOTIONAL STRESS #THESHOE," wrote one Twitter user. Another humorously added: "From the creators of #thedress , now they present to you #theshoe," and still another said: "swear if #theshoe becomes viral, I'm deleting Twitter." Sorry, @kj_anaa. It looks like you'll be saying goodbye to Twitter in that case. Because #TheShoe, tragically, isn't going anywhere today.
