It's said that where there's smoke, there's fire.
This old adage may or may not be applied to the state of Beyonce and Jay-Z's nearly 8-year marriage, which the tabloids have started tearing apart.
On February 20th, Beyonce reportedly got sauced at Kelly Rowland's 35th birthday party inside the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, CA.
"She was really partying away, drinking and flirting," one source told OK! at the gathering.
"It was clear something was bothering her."
In a very uncharacteristic move, Beyonce then "took off her wedding ring and held it in the air," telling other partygoers "that it was one of the last times they'd see it.
"She said she was ending her marriage to Jay Z. Everyone was shocked."
Fans of the singer might be surprised to hear her being so public about her private life, but Radar Online claims that the singer's relationship with Jay-Z is falling apart at the seams.
One source (who is allegedly part of the couple's staff) told the publication that "They sleep in rooms on opposite sides of a long hallway, with Blue Ivy's room in between them.
"They continue to sleep in separate bedrooms and are hardly ever home at the same time anymore."
The source also pointed out that Beyonce has been out of the house "as much as possible over the past couple of weeks.
"Meanwhile, Jay Z is in a shi**y mood lately and seems like he does not want to talk to anyone for any reason," the source added.
