Adam Levine on Music Critics: F--king Idiots! Aug 3rd 2012, 16:48 Adam Levine of Maroon 5 and American Horror Story Season 2 shares his love for music critics in the new issue of Inked. And by love we mean disgust. "Music critics are all f**king idiots," Levine proclaims in his interview with the magazine, with which he discusses the band's new release, Overexposed. “There’s obviously a certain balance between pursuing an audience and pursuing what you love to do, but I love what we do," the singer adds. "I would never put out a record I didn’t want to listen to.” Making music is up there with tattoos on Levine's list of favorite things. He says he got his first, of a dove, when he was 21. Many more followed. His latest: A string of beads around his neck. “I was in Japan and I got this necklace. I’m not sure why I got it. I think I was bored. But I like it.” Levine will be pulling double duty on TV this fall, on The Voice as well as on FX.
