Montee Ball, Star Wisconsin Running Back, Attacked on Campus Aug 1st 2012, 17:38 Montee Ball, a rising senior at the University of Wisconsin who set the all-time NCAA record for touchdowns in a season last year, was attacked in Madison this morning. According to initial reports, the Heisman Trophy finalist was knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked by five men. No reason for the beatdown has been made public, but Ball was taken to a hospital and has since been released. "We will continue to evaluate him as we approach the start of fall camp this weekend," said Wisconsin Football Coach Bret Bielema. Even those of us in the THG office who are Michigan State fans wish Ball a full and speedy recovery.
