Happy (Posthumous) Birthday, Whitney Houston Aug 9th 2012, 12:38 Whitney Houston would have turned 49 years old today. Sadly, of course, this is not the case, as the legendary singer passed away from an apparent overdose in February. But it's worth taking a few moments this morning in her honor and remember just how special and impressive of a voice this singer possessed.
