Donald Trump Releases Birth Certificate, Demands 5 Million From Bill Maher Jan 9th 2013, 17:01 Apparently, loudmouth birther extraordinaire Donald Trump is in the middle of another birth certificate-related controversy, although this time it involves: His own. Bill Maher. The real estate mogul sent a copy of his New York City birth certificate to comedian Maher, who made a Trump-like demand to see the document. Maher, mocking Trump's PR stunt announcement that he'd donate $5 million to charity if President Obama released his college records, made Trump an offer. On The Tonight Show, Maher said he would donate $5 million to charity if Trump could prove he isn't the "spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan." On Tuesday, a lawyer for the Celebrity Apprentice star called him on that in hilarious fashion, releasing proof that he is the son of Fred Trump, not an orangutan. In a letter, he told Maher to please remit the $5 million to Mr. Trump immediately for donation to the following five charities in equal amounts: Hurricane Sandy Victims The Police Athletic League The American Cancer Society The March of Dimes The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Well played by The Donald. A representative for Maher did not immediately return a request for comment. On Monday, though, he told Leno he did not want to start a war with The Donald.
