Henry Bromell Dies, Veteran TV Producer Was 66 Mar 19th 2013, 15:34 Henry Bromell, a veteran television producer of such hits as Homeland and Chicago Hope, passed away today  after suffering a heart attack on Monday. He was 66. The writer has served as executive producer on the aforementioned Showtime hit since it premiered early last year. Said 20th Century Fox TV/Fox 21 in a statement on his death: "We were lucky to work with Henry on and off for the past 18 years. He was a supremely talented writer and as kind and warm a person as you could ever meet. He will be deeply missed at the studio and on Homeland. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife and children." Bromwell is survived by his wife and two sons. His resume includes Northern Exposure, Homicide: Life On The Street, Rubicon and Carnivale.
