Romney "47 Percent" Video Recorder Comes Forward, Credits Bill Clinton Mar 13th 2013, 14:30 The man who recorded Mitt Romney's now-infamous "47 percent" comments at a fundraiser in Florida will reveal himself Wednesday night on MSNBC. In a preview of his interview, the bartender credits former President Bill Clinton for his decision to bring a camera to work that fateful day. Say what now? Mitt Romney on Obama Voters The Huffington Post reports that his employer previously catered an event where Clinton spoke, and Bill, being Bill, posed for photos with the entire staff. The bartender decided to bring his camera to the Romney fundraiser, hoping he could get a photo with the Republican presidential candidate as well. What he got that night turned out to be much more memorable. The man would not get a picture with Romney as he'd hoped - Mitt arrived late and left quickly after his remarks - but he decided to set his camera on the bar. In doing so, he happened to capture a huge campaign moment. He said that while recording Romney, he never thought about distributing the video, but after he heard Romney's 47 percent comment, he felt as if he had to. "I felt it was a civic duty," he said of the quote, which he disliked. "I couldn't sleep after I watched it. I had a duty to expose it."
