Pacific Rim Trailer: Guillermo Del Toro's Japanese Influences May 2nd 2013, 18:00 Guillermo Del Toro offers an introduction to this new Pacific Rim Japanese trailer. In it, he outlines the influence that Manga and Kaiju films have had on the upcoming monsters-vs.-robots movie. Check it out: Pacific Rim Trailer Japanese Charlie Hunnam and Rinko Kikuchi star as two pilots of giant robots called "Jaegers." The robots are dispatched to stave off an onslaught of enormous monsters that emerge from the ocean. Idris Elba, Charlie Day, and Ron Perlman also star. Pacific Rim comes to theaters July 12.
