Glee Cast Gathers for Cory Monteith Memorial Jul 26th 2013, 00:46, by Hilton Hater The cast of Glee paid final respects today to Cory Monteith. The actor - who passed away from a drug overdose on July 13 - has been remembered via Instagram and via song by various former costars. But Fox released a statement today that said cast and crew members came together for a private memorial. "Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of Glee, along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith," the network said. "We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time." Prodution was pushed back a week in light of Monteith's passing and Glee Season 5 will now premiere on September 26.
