The Bachelorette's Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are over already ... according to a celebrity gossip tabloid. One with questionable reliability.
According to In Touch, the honeymoon is over for Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried, who aren't even married, of course. In fact, they just got engaged.
Less than two weeks after the show's finale aired, Des is finding herself isolated in Seattle, where she just relocated to, as tensions begin rising.
The whole world knows Siegfried wasn't The Bachelorette beauty's first choice. Her own brother said she obviously settled for Chris, nice as he is.
Many expressed doubts that they would make it to the altar for this reason.
Still, news of a split, whether it's already happened or imminent, would come as a surprise, given the public displays of love and affection they've shared.
Putting on a good front or trying too hard to fight a losing battle, perhaps?
"Life is different now that they're out in the real world and not holed up at a secret Bachelorette location," says a show insider of the reality TV duo.
"Everything, including their relationship, has changed."
No doubt they are experiencing changes, but we would NOT accept this report as factual, at least not yet. First of all, it's In Touch, people. C'mon.
More significantly, there are few specifics available regarding the alleged split. We're not saying they're going to last, but in terms of being over already?
We'll believe it when we see it, and give them the benefit of the doubt.
