Drake VMA Performance: "Started From the Bottom," Then "Going Home" to Brooklyn Aug 26th 2013, 12:48, by Free Britney Drake's VMAs performance saw the rap star who "Started From the Bottom" declare "Hold On, We're Going Home" all the way to the Barclays Center. The performance, taking place on MTV's biggest night of the year, seemed to be well received by fans. Hopefully Amanda Bynes got to watch on TV. Check out his 2013 Video Music Awards effort below: Drake MTV VMA Performance 2013 Drake channeled his newly released Nothing Was the Same album art at the onset, being shot as a profile against a backdrop of clouds (see above). The 26-year-old then ran out into the cheering crowd for most of "Started From the Bottom," returning to the stage as fireworks blasted behind him.
