Despite all the online chatter, Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried are not throwing in the towel just yet ... if they were ever even close to doing so.
Des' Twitter feed is basically a live streaming look at a couple who certainly appears to be happy, in love and touching each other as much as possible.
Desiree posted photos of herself and Chris playing volleyball over the weekend, Chris shirtless and putting together furniture, Chris' poetry on the iPad, etc.
She also mentioned treating themselves to massages. Safe to say that if this duo is going through hard times, they are masking it awfully aggressively.
For some, Desiree Hartsock sharing her love with the social media-verse 24/7 can't erase how crushed she was when Brooks Forester dumped her.
And that's fine. So it goes with reality TV love. But is it possible - nay, likely at this point - that her obvious second choice Chris was still the best?
And that she's - gasp! - happier than ever, as advertised?
Critics will say she's overcompensating, trying too hard and going all in hoping Chris will replace Brooks in the end, when it's destined to fail.
Fans say that things work out for a reason, and however unorthodox it was to watch Des and Chris Siegfried get together, that doesn't mean it's not perfect.
Time will tell who is right, but we're all pulling for them.
