Walter White Obituary: Published in Albuquerque Journal! Oct 4th 2013, 14:58, by Free Britney Walter White's death on Sunday's Breaking Bad finale has been immortalized by his hometown Albuquerque Journal, which ran an obituary for the character. The photo chosen is from his pre-Heisenberg days. No hat: Walt is listed as co-founder of Gray Matter - which ended up being a key plot point -  and died from a "long battle with lung cancer, and a gunshot wound." Skyler, meanwhile, apparently dropped the White surname. In lieu of flowers for the fallen meth kingpin, the notice of his death says "donations can be made to a drug abuse prevention charity of your choice." The Albuquerque Journal says the obituary for the iconic TV character was designed, written and paid for by a group of die-hard Breaking Bad fans. That's awesome.
