Lupita Nyong'o Wins Critics Choice Award, Moves Everyone to Tears Jan 17th 2014, 16:38, by Hilton Hater Lupita Nyong'o pulled a mild upset at the Critics Choice Movie Awards last night, defeating favorite Jennifer Lawrence for Best Supporting Actress. The 12 Years a Slave star then took to the stage in tears... and proceeded to produce waterworks across every living room in American as well. Clearly touched by the honor and gracious to all who helped her achieve it, Nyong'o set the bar very high for all future acceptance speeches.
