Over the past few days, we've heard from a couple famous mothers in regard to how they would handle Justin Bieber.
Michelle Obama would give him a hug. Sharon Osbourne would kick him in the ass.
But what about Justin Bieber's actual mother? Where does Pattie Mallette stand in the midst of her son's never-ending drama?
"As any mom of an adult child, Pattie is holding him close and talking to him about everything, but she can't make his decisions for him," an insider close to Mallette tells E! News.
Between multiple arrests and PR nightmares for the artist, this source adds that Mallette is "genuinely concerned" over her child... but she isn't sure how to handle him.
"If she is with Justin, she is accused of endorsing or enabling him," the friend explains. "Yet if they find out she is not with him, they accuse her for not being with her own child in a time like this."
Pattie and Justin have a "great relationship" and the former will "never turn on" her boy, even if he did destroy Selena Gomez.
"It would be hard to imagine that any parent wouldn't feel the same love, concern and responsibility as Pattie does in regard to her son's well-being," E!'s report concludes.
"Pattie and [Justin's dad] Jeremy both know that they are responsible before God and are focusing on their son's well-being in private."
