The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 9, the second of back-to-back installments, featured the tables turning hardcore on Juan Pablo as HE was shown the door.
So to speak. He's still on the show and has two women giddy for the chance to receive the final rose March 10. But boy did El Bachelor get dumped hard!
The Bachelor spoilers accurately predicted the final two and that the third-place woman left voluntarily, but didn't do justice to the events that went down.
So who's in and who's out - and glad to be out? Read on to find out ...
Behind closed doors, when the cameras were turned off during their Caribbean fantasy overnight date, Andi Dorfman decided that this was not working.
That's putting it mildly, as the A.D.A. from Atlanta made clear.
"Waking up this morning I could not wait to get out of the fantasy suite," Andi said. "I saw a side to him that I didn't really like and the whole night was just a disaster!"
Every time she started talking about her feelings or her past, he started talking about himself. He brought up his overnight stay with Clare Crawley.
"Seriously ... are you kidding me?" Andi Dorfman ranted to the cameras. "It blew my mind that he thought that was OK to talk about." If only it ended there.
Juan Pablo calls himself honest for coming out and saying that Dorfman "barely" made it to the final three. Andi, in turn, called it being "a (bleep)hole."
There date certainly didn't begin on such a hostile note. On the contrary.
Snuggling under the waterfall the day before, "I feel like I'm on cloud nine right now," Andi said. "I can't stop smiling. I can't explain how romantic it is."
Everything went south overnight, though, and without the cameras rolling in the Fantasy Suite (ABC fail!) we'll have to take her word for most of it.
When she said she's not in love and he replied with a nonchalant "it's OK," she lost it. "That bothers me ... you saying it's OK comes off as you not having feelings."
She accused him of not taking things seriously. "I never honestly felt like you were ever trying to get to know me," she told him, and went into detail.
"Do you even know my religion, my stand on social issues, how I want to raise my children," she asked ... being a high-powered lawyer after all.
Juan Pablo's responses clearly didn't do a lot to change Dorfman's mind.
"I just want to be done with it," Andi said. "It didn't work out. I want to pick up and call it a day. I have to do what's in my heart and be true to myself."
Her departure made for an awkward, icy rose ceremony for Clare Crawley and Nikki Ferrell, who stood next to each other but barely glanced at each other.
"Am I disappointed? Maybe a little," he mused. "Andi had everything."
So it's Nikki and Clare for all the marbles March 10. Who will win?
