Miley Cyrus brings her Bangerz tour to NBC on July 6, and today she gave us our first glimpse of what's in store:
Yes, it might be exactly what you expected, but that doesn't make it any less jaw-dropping.
Over belted out promises of, "I'mma do my thing," Miley sings, sparkles and pumps up the crowd in the first preview for the highly-anticipated television event.
Sadly, no twerking or giant inflatable dildos are seen in the family-friendly clip, but hopefully NBC won't shy away from the more scandalous aspects of Miley's stage show when they air the recording of her concert from Barcelona this Sunday.
One of the most anticipated world tours in recent memory, Bangerz has suffered from declining ticket sales, and industry analysts have suggested that rumors about the state of Miley's health and the show's graphic content are keeping some fans at home.
Miley was hospitalized back in April, forcing her to cancel or postpone some stops on the tour and leaving millions of fans concerned for her well-being.
Some believe that the decision to televise a stop on the European leg of the tour is Miley's way of assuring fans that all is well, and the Bangerz tour is still one glittery spectacle after another.
With twerking, of course.
