Tuesday night's emotional, magical 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 14 saw Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard tie the knot in their native Arkansas.
The installment, fittingly titled "Jill's Wedding," was everything we thought it would be and more as we finally saw the events of June 21 with our own eyes.
To fans of the famous family, 19 Kids and Counting Season 14 Episode 14 was a much-anticipated one because we all know Jill is married and pregnant.
Seeing how she got there, though, makes the behind-the-scenes clips all the more wonderful, and what a way to wrap up the recent run of fall episodes.
The first thing you'll see when you watch 19 Kids and Counting online is a look back at how Jill and Derick's wedding came together. It was an undertaking!
Jill explains that her wedding theme is "vintage" and "shabby chic," with an "outdoor" setting on the stage inside that will fit the duo's entire bridal party.
For the reception, Jill planned for "snacks" due to the fact that it was an afternoon wedding. Most critical for her? Root Beer floats, with vanilla ice cream!
The wedding coordinators (they really need a whole team of them for this) figure out what to do next and where to put everyone is funny to say the least.
Jill and Derick themselves reflect on their road to the altar, and how they first met. Safe to say it's been a magical love story from the get go for them.
When they rehearse for the ceremony, they sweetly blow kisses at each other, because the real deal is being saved for marriage of course. Soon enough!
The Arkansas natives grew up within 45 minutes of each other, but didn't meet until late 2011. Jill recalled when Derick stopped by while caroling with a church group, and not long after, "Derick contacted my dad and asked if he would be a prayer partner during his two-year term in Nepal."
Unfortunately for Derick, his mom, Cathy Dillard, is battling cancer. Jim Bob reveals that "Miss Cathy," as he sweetly calls her, may not be able to make it.
It's very sad, but also touching to watch as the entire family prays for the health of a woman who isn't even one of their own, but to them is already family.
As for those who will be there, Derick's best man is his brother Dan. Friends Madison and Steven, cousin Tony, and Jill's brothers John and Joe are groomsmen.
For Jill, her many bridesmaids include her maid-of-honor and older sister, Jana Duggar, younger sisters Jessa, Jinger, Joy, Johanna, and her sister-in-law, Anna.
Finally, it's time for the wedding, and on the day of, we learn that Derick's mom is well enough to come. Safe to say both are thrilled at Cathy's attendance.
As the ceremony begins, it's 19 tears and counting for everyone on hand. This is the kind of emotional outpouring that has won the family so many fans.
It's hard not to get choked up seeing Jim Bob give his daughter away to Derick, with whom she holds hands throughout the ceremony. What a nice couple.
At least, we see Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard's first kiss. Dude went all in, dipping his bride backwards as the crowd erupts with thunderous applause!
Congratulations again to Jill and Derick, and fittingly enough, this Saturday in Arkansas, the wedding torch is passed to Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald!
