We wish we could say that Kim Kardashian did not appear on television last night.
Tragically, however, the former sex tape star did play a role on the 2 Broke Girls season opener.
It may have been more appropriate, however, for Kardashian to show up on Castle Season 7 Episode 5, considering this fun installment brought Rick and Kate Beckett into the world of Internet celebrity.
It all started with Castle filming a commercial in order to promote his latest book, fumbling around in the process and knocking over many books, while even messing up his own name.
Despite his clumsiness, Rick was prepared to move his career into the digital age and go viral… until the finished commercial aired and it featured a mish-mash of all of Castle's mishaps.
We laughed. He did not.
This tied in well to the Case of the Week, as social media moguls were being killed in the area. Clearly a relevant theme to today's Internet era, the team had difficulty understanding how someone can make a living by posting photos on a social network.
(Imagine how they'd feel knowing someone can make a six-figure living by Twerking?)
The details of the investigation and how they caught the criminal was less interesting than this fact: Ryan has a blog!!! It's titled The Ryan Report and he's very sad that Castle does not read it.
We're very confused about why Castle does not read it! We totally would if The Ryan Report actually existed. (Your move, ABC!)
In other important news: Rick and Kate are getting married! In two weeks!!!!
