Would Kaptain Kourtney and Skipper Scott keep steering the ship headed in the right direction on Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 6?
With these two, it feels like there are calm days, but always stormy waters ahead.
Fortunately, this week was (mostly) on the lighter, comedic side thanks to Khloe and Scott, while Kourtney revealed the sex of her third child. What's she having?
When Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons Season 1 Episode 6 got underway, we learned right off the bat that Kourtney's third child will be a boy!
She's so thrilled. Mason Dash is less so, saying point blank, "I wanted a girl."
Anyway, after that ratings-driven episode intro, we cut to the meat of the episode, which this week happened to be pretty funny and Keeping Up-esque.
If you watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians or watch Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons online, you know there are some obviously scripted situations.
The family members are put in clearly staged positions where the producers hope the resulting shenanigans will be worth it. Which brings us to last night:
At the beach, Kourtney said she'd love to go sailing, because she's a "sick sailor" and even has a license. No one, of course, has ever seen this.
"I'm calling Kourtney out," said Scott, promptly getting a sailboat delivered. "She's not a sailor, I know she's not a sailor. I need to see if she can sail."
The result? She may not be the "worst sailor ever," as Khloe dubbed her, but definitely not "sick" either ... unless she meant seasick. It was a rough ride.
Fortunately, the eldest Kardashian sister redeemed herself by playing "Nurse Kourtney" and tweezing a tick out of Khloe's butt. Scott was likely jealous.
Speaking of Khloe and Scott, she turned down the radio show after producers balked at having Scott join her, and decided they do their own podcast instead.
More scripted absurdity? You bet. But that doesn't mean it wasn't funny to see them broadcast it from inside a bathtub, where no one can see them.
On the podcast anyway. We watch the show, of course, so the joke's on us.
The program was about what you'd expect, with Khloe grilling Scott on shrinkage, erections and boning Kourtney in the tub, and The Lord answering candidly.
He said he's only gotten Kourtney Kardashian nude in the water twice in 10 years ... and she doesn't remember even those times. Pretty standard.
Lord Disick often says what we're thinking. Especially when he's ragging on his baby mama's clueless sisters.
The mood turned sour later, though, as Scott bailed on starring with Khloe Kardashian and French Montana in the latter's music video for "Don't Panic."
He was supposed to be the lead character, but he flaked (citing his newfound sobriety) without telling anyone, pissing everyone off in the process.
Later, during their second podcast, Khloe slammed him "on air" for the stunt.
Kourtney said she respected Disick for taking himself out of a situation he felt could jeopardize his progress, but felt he should have handled it better.
He apologized to Khloe, and they made up, even though he's not a team player. As for reports that Scott Disick is in love with her, well, draw your own conclusion.
