Last night on The Mindy Project Season 3 Episode 11, a Christmas-themed installment in which Mindy really, really wanted Danny to pop the question.
Did he? Or was our heroine let down?
In what was a hilarious half hour, The Mindy Project Season 3 Episode 11 started off with Mindy snooping and realizing that Danny bought a stone.
For his own grave plot. He's psyched.
At work, Mindy is called into Dr. Fishman's office, where she's told she's being recommended for a teaching fellowship at Stanford. Mindy wants to accept.
Danny tells Peter about Mindy's opportunity, and Peter points out the "proposal trap" of Mindy wanting to be engaged by Christmas, and now forcing his hand.
Speaking of Peter, he asks Danny to set him up on a date, and he obliges, even though it's his doctor friend Jessica and she happens to be a hoarder.
Mindy runs into Jessica, and she asks about who Peter is. Mindy tells him to go scope him out in the break room, but by the time she gets there?
Morgan is there instead.
She introduces herself and says they are being set up by Danny, which Morgan thinks is part of his Secret Santa gift, as Danny drew his name this year.
Hilarity ensues.
Meanwhile, Danny does not seem happy about Mindy potentially leaving for eight months since they are not engaged ... but what's he gonna do about it?
