Who went home on American Idol this week?
Got ya! That's a trick question... because everyone went home on American Idol this week! Sort of!
The remaining contestants were asked to sing a pair of songs, one of which came from an artist who hails from one of the judges' hometowns.
This resulted in covers of Beyonce, Stevie Wonder and Lady Antebellum; while Christina Perri and Justin Bieber were among those copied for the second round of performances.
Who stood out? Who deserved to get the boot? Watch all five of the hopefuls do their thing on stage below:
Rayvon Owen's take on "Believe" was likely our favorite performance of the night, though most of the focus today is on Tyanna Jones breaking down during "Run the World (Girls)."
Indeed, Jones was ousted from the competition Wednesday evening, much to the surprise of those assumed it would be Owen's time to go.
"If you're gonna do one last performance, that's the way to do it!" declared Keith Urban after Jones complete her teary-eyed take on Queen Bey's smash hit.
