The star was trying to impress professional Rory McIlroy, who is the number-one1 golfer in the world. Yeah, we'd all be nervous trying to impress someone like that! Disaster (or comedy) struck when he went over to speak with Sky News and he slid on some pine leaves. The singer and his band One Direction have been in the news A LOT recently because Zayn Malik quit. The band have since stated that they are "gutted" by his departure. The 21-year-old was unfazed by his slip and even Tweeted about it in a winning way. "If your walking around augusta , don't step on the pine leaves, slippy as hell Hahahaha! #redfaced !," the star wrote. After the incident, he did get to speak to Sky News about him taking a swing on the golf course. "Can't say I've been that nervous in a long time. Yeah, it was tough, but it was all right," he said.
