Last week marked an entire decade since Tom Cruise famously jumped on Oprah Winfrey's couch, babbling about his love for Katie Holmes.
And today marks ten years since Carrie Underwood won American Idol and launched into stardom. Feeling old yet?
It is hard to believe that it has been that long, especially because Carrie has remained a mega-star ever since her victory on the reality talent show.
In addition to regular performances at huge events such as the CMAs and AMAs, Carrie has performed alongside some of music's greatest. In 2013, Carrie Underwood performed with The Rolling Stones, solidifying her place in music history.
As if she hasn't been busy enough with her music career, in March of this year, Underwood gave birth to a baby boy.
It's been an exciting journey for Carrie as she has become a household name. Other American Idol winners have definitely made a name for themselves, but Carrie Underwood might be the all-time favorite.
Fans of American Idol will have their last chance to pick the next winner during American Idol's final season. The series' final run will begin in January.
