Bruce Jenner reflected on last week's "About Bruce Special" that Kendall and Kylie Jenner were his primary concern in going public as a woman.
Now we see why. On Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 10 Episode 12, we took a look at how Kylie Jenner is handling the unusual situation.
While Khloe lashed out at him quite pointedly, if you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online this week, you'll see Kylie become withdrawn.
Quite the contrast from a teenager who has become one of the Internet's go-to for scandalous headlines (and seductive and soaking wet photos).
"I feel like I go through these times where I hate my life," she admitted.
Sister Kendall Jenner said that while the two are so close, "Kylie and I are handling [Bruce's transition] differently. Kylie does bottle up her emotions."
Kendall has modeling to keep her busy, as she has a full-scale career at this point. Kylie is still in school (apparently) and time on her hands.
Nothing to do but get pregnant with Tyga's baby. It's upsetting, really.
We kid, but she has almost too much time to ruminate on Bruce.
The patriarch noticed it too. In the wake of the successful Bruce Jenner interview, he told a friend that "Kylie's the one we're really worried about."
"She's having a hard time dealing with this. I do everything I can to try to stay in touch but she doesn't want to talk about it."
"She's just shut me out lately."
"My concern is that we've had such a close relationship for so many years and my kids are everything to me ... I don't want her to go away, emotionally."
Neither does Kim Kardashian.
The E! family cash cow decided to take a break from being SUCH a hard worker to plan a ski trip to Montana, keeping up a family tradition.
There, however, young Kylie was even more withdrawn.
"My sisters keep trying to push me to open up, to talk about things," the 17-year-old said, "but I don't really want to talk to anyone else right now."
She decided to distract herself by heli-skiing, which is apparently a thing, but Khloe (who came along) saw through that defense mechanism.
"I feel like you're doing all these things to distract your mind because you're going through a lot," Khloe told her troubled half-sibling afterward.
"But I also feel like you do it because it makes you feel like you're the Jenner ... I feel like this should be your bonding stuff with your dad."
That was the turning point of Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 10 Episode 12, as Kylie decided to call her father for a cute chat.
Kylie later told the cameras following that convo:
"Me and my dad have so many things in common. He's making all of these changes but I want to make sure I keep a close bond with him."
