Justin Bieber has given Kate Gosselin a reason to be relevant again.

The singer debuted an unexpected hairstyle at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, walking the red carpet with a cut that looks like Gosselin in 2009.
And we're not the only ones who share this opinion.
"I do see some resemblance to my former hairstyle - Justin's is a current take on it, yes!" Gosselin tells Cosmopolitan.com, adding:
"And it's okay, he can have it!"
Kate, who famously shares many children (eight, we think) with ex-husband Jon Gosselin, then went on to praise Bieber for posting side-by-side pictures of her and himself on Instagram.
"I love the fact that he's willing to laugh at himself with this post because that shows signs of maturity.
"You have to be comfortable enough to take what people say about you and laugh. He did, and so thumbs-up, Justin!"
Bieber cried for some reason on the VMA stage over the weekend, but Gosselin sees only a bright future ahead for the artist.
"Everyone makes mistakes, and they never go unnoticed when you're in the public eye," she says. "But as a mom, I wish him the very best in everything he does in life."
