Kim Davis has been sentenced to time in jail.
The Kentucky clerk has been in the news for days now after refusing to grant a marriage license to a same-sex couple, despite the Supreme court having made gay marriage legal in all 50 states.
But Davis - who has been married four times and who has two kids out of wedlock - believes she is doing God's will by denying this couple its request.
As a result, she's been thrown behind bars for contempt and will remain there until she does her job of granting marriage licenses to anyone who seeks one.
And if Davis is looking for supporters of her illegal actions, she won't find many in Hollywood, not based on these post-sentencing Twitter reactions:
Star Jones: Lawd! #KimDavis 'gave birth to twins 5 months after divorcing her 1st husband who were fathered by her 3rd husband but adopted by her 2nd.
Andy Cohen: Kim Davis respects the sanctity of marriage but has been married four times?? Hmmm.
Olivia Wilde: LOVE: 1 Kim Davis: 0.
Tom Arnold: Heads up girlfriend, if I remember visiting my sister in prison correctly it's a really really bad place for gay haters to live.
Seth MacFarlane: So if Kim Davis can sit in the county clerk's office ignoring the law without consequence, does that mean we can smoke pot there too?
Of course, a couple of Presidential candidates are actually in support of Davis acting as a vigilante. To wit:
Mike Huckabee: I'm headed to Kentucky on Tuesday to stand with #KimDavis. We must end the criminalization of Christianity!
Ted Cruz: I call on every Believer, every Constitutionalist, every lover of liberty to stand w/ Kim Davis—stop the persecution.
Donald Trump: Kim Davis is a LOSER!
